In late February, President Trump said the Democrats’ “new hoax” was claiming the White House was doing a bad job in response to the coronavirus. As late as the first week of March, he was claiming there was little to be concerned about in our country.

Now that he has been proven wrong on both accounts, he is claiming that he and his administration are heroes in their handling of the situation. The FDA and Surgeon General acted — not because of Trump, but because of a national emergency.

In both his comments and answers to press questions, Trump always finds a way to promote “Trump.” Then he said members of the media were sitting too close to one another and said, “Really, we should probably get rid of about 75, 80% of you. I’ll have just two or three of you that I like in this room. I think that’s a great way of doing it.”

It’s amazing that people can’t see him for what he truly is.
