Letter to the editor: Seek out truth about Israel
On Oct. 7 the world witnessed the most barbaric attack since the Holocaust on the Jewish state of Israel. Unthinkable acts of horror were unleashed on a country simply because it existed.
Infants were beheaded and killed in front of their mothers, families were killed in their beds, young women were raped and their bodies dragged through the streets, individuals were burned alive in cages, and the unthinkable horrors continued, including the killing of pets.
If your flavor of news is mainstream, MSNBC or CNN, you may not be aware of how heinous these crimes were. In fact, some of our complicit media seems to feel it is their duty to downplay the hate-inspired ideology action forced on the Israeli nation. Israel, our greatest ally.
Sadly, we have elected Democratic politicians like Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib who cannot bring themselves to condemn the attack. Both of these women spew hate-filled antisemitic rhetoric against Israel any time the opportunity arises, and yet they both hold seats in our Congress.
We have watched through the years the radical left educational elites from the ’60s who have taken to indoctrinating our future generations to hate America while rewriting its history.
Words of advice: Watch “Schindler’s List,” visit the Holocaust Museum, seek out a Holocaust survivor and listen to their story.
Or, in real time, take a bus trip to our own Shanksville, where both evil and hate joined forces but true heroism and sacrifice lives.
