We have reached a point in our history where our fate is being determined by our ability to sew.
We are sewing masks because the federal government has failed to provide.
Sewing takes preparation. You have to visualize the end product. You must plan. You must strategize.
To make a mask, you need cloth, elastic, thread and needles. You must procure ahead of time. Having more is better than less.
Materials do not sew themselves. The person with the needle needs a belief that what they do matters, that the work today will create a better product.
Sewing is caring, hope, faith, discipline and creating betterment.
The president seems to not have learned the basics of sewing.
We would be better off if the president spent some time sewing a mask and wearing it — wearing it for those around him, for their safety.
Sewing for others, not yourself, is our hope.
