It was with great pride that I watched the U.S. women’s soccer team defeat England’s team for the world championship. And then we saw the team’s captain, Megan Rapinoe, shame herself and her team by refusing an invitation to visit the White House to receive our president’s congratulations on behalf of the country. Shame, shame, Miss Rapinoe.
