Behind the walls of Shell’s petrochemicals plant in Monaca, hundreds of hardworking members of our community keep the facility operating safely and efficiently. I grew up in a rural town with a smaller population, so I understand how families need good jobs like these to raise their families and maintain stability.

The Shell plant has generated opportunities for thousands of people in the region, from construction to engineering jobs, while having a positive ripple effect in the community. A facility of this size helps small businesses thrive. Restaurants, service and construction companies and more benefit from the plant and its workforce.

Ensuring the plant continues to operate is critical to this region.
