Letter to the editor: Should business owners be allowed to shoot rioters?

Regarding the article “Internal probe clears officer in Capitol riot shooting” (Aug. 23, TribLIVE): If this is the case, shop owners should be allowed to shoot rioters when they break into their place of business even if the rioters are not armed.
