While out driving the other day enjoying all the benefits of Build Back Better, I couldn’t help but notice the wonderful quality of the asphalt patches and the miles of tar lines poured as far as the eye can see. It was some of the most amazing asphalt and tar I’ve ever seen.

Yet that wasn’t the highlight of my journey. I also saw a couple of water main breaks with water splashing into the sky, and I couldn’t help but think how lucky we are to have the greatest water breaks in the world. No other country has such amazing water lines, and knowing those holes would be patched with the greatest asphalt patch the world has ever seen made me proud.

If that wasn’t enough, I drove by a couple of empty malls and realized how these glorious structures added to their community’s skyline. Nobody does abandoned like America!

Heading home I drove by four, yes, four electric charging stations and I thought, “Wow,” a country that wants to put everyone into an electric vehicle already has four charging stations and at a cost of only 8 billion dollars. What a steal!

Nearing the end of my drive I drove by a homeless encampment and I thought, “Wow,” these are some of the greatest homeless encampments the world has ever seen. Top quality tents, blankets and even fertilizer all over the grass. How did we get so good at this?

You can’t say this wasn’t $2.2 trillion well spent.
