So, the Social Security Agency has been making huge blunders that somehow none of the geniuses that we the taxpayers employ there caught. They somehow overpaid some recipients in their monthly checks, then sent them letters telling them they need to pay back all of the overpayments, some totaling thousands of dollars. This oversight was going on for so long that many of these people had no clue they were receiving overpayments. These folks depend on these checks just to survive in today’s economy, and now they are expected to suddenly come up with thousands of dollars when they’re lucky if they have a few dollars to spare.

I say if President Biden can forgive student loans totaling billions and give immigrants piles of free stuff, then he can damn well forgive the debt his government agency has accrued. Let these people live their lives without being badgered by our government to pay back money they don’t and probably never will have. You pay it, Biden — you like to spend money you don’t have. Leave ’em be!
