Bravo to the writer of the letter “Leaving soldiers behind is un-American” (Aug. 11, TribLIVE). This letter should be endorsed by every American and a copy sent to every Congress member, as well as Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden.
As I realize that would probably not be possible, please, everyone, alert your state officials as to this shameful act of our government. Remember this, too, when you vote. This could happen to your sons, daughters, husbands and all service members in the future.
Our condolences to the families of those who were forgotten and written off!
