Israel recently announced it plans to build thousands of houses for Jewish settlers in the West Bank. According to Joe Biden’s mouthpiece, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the proposal will face “firm opposition” from the United States. He went on to say, “In our judgment, this weakens, it doesn’t strengthen, Israel’s security. It’s been long-standing U.S. policy under Republican and Democratic administrations alike that new settlements in the West Bank are counterproductive to reaching an enduring peace. They’re also inconsistent with international law.”

For Biden to call Israeli settlements illegal is almost laughable. Millions of illegal immigrants have entered the U.S. on Biden’s watch. We have no knowledge of who they are. Many are criminals, gang members or otherwise undesirable. They have been bused to many U.S. cities. “New settlements” are being established in hotels, old jails, tent cities and even our schools.

According to Biden, a few thousand Jews moving into West Bank housing is deplorable — 7 million illegal immigrants setting up shop in the U.S. is fine and dandy with him.
