Letter to the editor: Steelers thoughts

Tribune-Review

We need to make dunce caps for Art Rooney, Omar Khan and Mike Tomlin. They are an embarrassment. Six years to figure Mason Rudolph is their best quarterback. His league-leading play at the end of last season wasn’t enough to list him as No. 1, let alone make a contract offer better than the $3.62 million Tennessee will pay.

Enter 35-year-old Russell Wilson to play quarterback. Denver will pay $38 million of his salary. Wonder why? Kenny Pickett gets traded for insubordination. Kenny who? A wasted pick. One quarterback, two wide receivers, three French hens. … Players aren’t buying this nonsense of Tomlin’s management style. You can’t trade them all, Art.

Should we start packing Tomlin’s bags (fans would love it) or put tassels on your dunce cap? Don’t please the fans, Art. Remind us you’ve had 50 winning seasons (money). Sad and pathetic. Maybe I’ll watch the Tennessee Titans this year.
