Every year, it’s “rinse and repeat.” I’m talking about Steelers owner Art “The Enabler” Rooney who, like Punxsutawney Phil, comes out of office, sees his shadow and declares at his annual postseason season press conference that his team is improving. He clearly thinks Steelers Nation are a bunch of morons who don’t know it’s all about the money, championships be damned. Cha-ching.

Why else would he continue to let his mouthpiece roam the sidelines when he’s unable to win a playoff game, year after year? Cha-ching. Clock management, challenges and player discipline, to name a few of Coach Mike Tomlin’s shortcomings, are reminiscent of rookie coaches. Some say Tomlin has no coaching tree in his 17 years at the helm. They’re wrong; have you ever seen “A Charlie Brown Christmas”? That’s Tomlin’s tree!

Rooney says Tomlin is the best man to lead the team to a championship. I say bring your skates because hell will freeze over first. Back to your hole, Art — see you next year.

As far as stadium improvements, on your dime, not ours. Cha-ching.
