I have been wondering if my imagination is getting the best of me or not. Has the attrition rate of the Steelers gained traction over the years and accelerated the decline of Mike Tomlin’s teams?

Yes, we have added several very talented players, but the bad coaches he has hired have done very little to improve the team overall. We used to be feared in the NFL, but now that Ben Roethlisberger is passing time until his gold jacket arrives, what can Tomlin do to start building up the talent? He has had quite a few years to do that and failed. To me, the beginning of the end was losing Mike Munchak. Roethlisberger couldn’t overcome the OL play after that.

I could ramble on, but Tomlin has shown that the coattails he has been hanging on to are threadbare now.

I wish I still lived in Sewickley!
