Regarding the letter “Greta Thunberg deserves Medal of Freedom” (Oct. 2, TribLIVE): Suggesting a medal for a 16-year-old for pushing her ideas is ludicrous. Where did Greta attain this knowledge that even scientists don’t all agree on?

I believe we have climate change occurring. It has been happening for millions (supposedly) of years. If you are truly concerned, talk with the one responsible — God.

We need to overlook the emotional and self-serving promotion of events and policies and stay with proven, factual evidence. It is truly amazing how many “experts” we have on so many topics that play on emotion. Just live with your beliefs and leave the rest of us alone.
