Letter to the editor: Stop the bullying

Tribune-Review

I think it’s high time we pull the plug on late-night TV host Jimmy Kimmel, the ladies on “The View” and the other genius gurus.

Shame on Kimmel: Whether you like or dislike President Trump is not the issue. The issue is respect. As children, we are taught to respect and not bully. And “The View” — there is no view. It should be called “The Way.” Are you soothsayers? You seem to know it all. If these vigilante folks think they know it all, we should put a team of them in office.

We have been leading the way in disrespect since the 2016 presidential election. We are on a mission to have equality for everyone, yet we strike down the people who don’t share our opinions. The ignorance and viciousness we are displaying to our children is overwhelming. We spend more time and money kicking people to the ground instead of showing constructive criticism.

Think before you speak. It is high time we pull these folks off the air. The hatred, the bullying — the idea that they know it all — is disgusting.

We can respect all nationalities, all races, all the world’s differences. Whether or not you agree with the president or any other official, stop the ignorance you are displaying.
