On the invasion of Iraq, Colin Powell famously told President George W Bush, “If you break it, you own it.” That break cost the American taxpayer $2 trillion to $3 trillion and beyond. Now once again our government plays the bully, and without provocation invades a weaker country, unleashing death and destruction on its citizens, and plundering its resources. I guess one should expect this type of action from an administration that kills its own people and lies about it.

One wonders how much this colossal misadventure is going to cost the American taxpayer.

President Trump claims he is going to fix Venezuela, but it was never his to fix. Trump is better at breaking things, or taking things, than he is at fixing things. Look at how, in just one year as president, he has broken the effectiveness of our government and has personally made billions.

We need to find a moral and legal way to stop the devastation caused by men like Trump, Putin and Netanyahu. And we must insist that, at long last, our Congress fulfill its constitutional duty and remove this corrupt, cruel president before he causes any more damage.
