I contacted Sen. Bob Casey at his website and asked his position on the Israel/Gaza situation. I received a lengthy one-sided screed condemning Iran as the “leading sponsor of terrorism “and supporting Israel unequivocally.” Given the worldwide protests against Israel’s deliberate slaughter of civilians and aid workers in Gaza, it is beyond belief that Casey has not a shred of concern about Israel’s current and past criminal actions. In fact, an impartial view of history shows that the “leading sponsor of terrorism ” in the Middle East is Israel, not Iran.
The 1,200 Israelis killed and hostages taken in the “retaliatory strike” by Iran-backed Hamas on Oct. 7 pales in comparison to the more than 700,000 Palestinians who have been killed, imprisoned or dispossessed from their homes in Israel, Gaza and the illegally occupied West Bank the past decades. The Palestinians and Iran had nothing to do with the Holocaust.
Thus far the United States has been sucked into two disastrous Middle East wars, Afghanistan and Iraq. War criminal and treacherous “ally” Bibi Netanyahu is determined to suck the U.S. into another debacle with Iran.
Tell Casey and all the warmongering American Israel Public Affairs Committee bought and sold Democratic and Republican politicians that the U.S. will not be sucked into another Middle East war in support of terrorist Israel.
