I just made my very first donation to a political cause. In a previous letter to the editor I cautioned that donations to political parties only fuel the partisan divide. My opinion has not changed, but this recent donation was made to support the fast-growing national movement to initiate term limits for all of our elected federal officeholders, a good starting point.
This is one of the very few issues that has wide bipartisan support, and mine. In time it will bring unity. Put your money where your mouth is.
