Letter to the editor: Thank you, President Trump

Tribune-Review

Thank you, President Trump, for delivering in one term what your predecessor couldn’t in two.

Here’s the short stack: Four Middle East peace agreements; U.S. energy independence; record low unemployment for minorities and women; prison reform, 90% benefitting Blacks; opportunity zones incentivizing low-income area businesses; $6,000 median household income gain; permanent federal aid to historically black colleges and universities; troop withdrawals from Syria and Afghanistan; decimating ISIS; tax cut across all brackets; cheaper health care options covering preexisting conditions; preserving 180 million employer health plans; having drug companies freeze or reverse price hikes; Right to try legislation; making NATO allies contribute billions more to their defense; replacing NAFTA with USMCA; rebuilding our military to insure peace through strength; renegotiating agreements to halt China’s abusive trade practices; appointing constitutional Supreme Court justices; remaining federalist by assisting each governor’s separate virus response and managing a 2.2%-and-falling mortality rate (lower than 62 nations) in the world’s travel hub; enabling rapid development of covid-19 vaccines.

All while battling a political hoax (Mueller report), a scam impeachment, Pravda-like media bias and big-tech censorship favoring Biden.

So many politicians are in it for power, wealth and celebrity. It’s why their “accomplishments” are pathetic next to yours. You were in it for us. Thank you, sir, for reminding Americans that liberty is always worth fighting for.
