On April 6, 2,094 runners and walkers were treated to gorgeous spring weather at the 12th annual Race For Grace. As 450 volunteers ensured this spectacular event operated as a well-oiled machine, hundreds of spectators and supporters enjoyed a day of activities for all ages. Norwin High School was packed — estimated at 3,000 strong — with an extraordinary community to prove “Pittsburgh is Stronger Than Cancer.”

The atmosphere was indescribable. All around, there were moments of Grace in motion. Spirits were lifted, compassion was inspired, joy was sparked, kindness was multiplied, awareness was raised, funds were collected, heroes were paid tribute and legacies were honored. We were reminded of what cancer cannot do and that grace is limitless.
