Letter to the editor: The Democrats' dilemma

The so-called “presidential debate” completely and totally exposed Joe Biden for what he is, which is a geezer ready for the home.

I’m sure a lot of viewers actually felt sorry for the poor guy because after a full week of debate prep with 16 of his most trusted advisers, he was a disaster, unable to maintain his train of thought, unable to complete sentences, mumbling and stumbling in front of the entire world, and confirming beyond any doubt that he is unfit to serve.

But I do not feel sorry for Biden. I am angry. Not just at Biden, but at the entire Democratic Party and its left-wing media allies. For the past year, they claimed that they are the party that protects democracy, when, in fact, they denied U.S. citizens the opportunity to vote for a better candidate by refusing to allow any Democratic primaries. Instead, the Democratic oligarchs coronated this tired old man as the one and only choice. Democracy or oligarchy?

Now, however, they find themselves with a dilemma of monumental proportions, having an obviously unfit candidate and an already chosen back-up who is no more fit than old Biden.

I predict the Democratic oligarchs will soon find a way to get Biden to drop out and Kamala Harris to follow, probably with a big secret bank account, so that they can bring in Gavin Newsome and Gretchen Whitmer to try to lessen the red wave coming in November. Good luck with that.
