I read letters stating how President Trump restricted travel in January. It was Jan. 31, and he never stopped flights. He stopped people in China from flying here, but Americans, dual citizens and permanent residents still could fly here. Travel from Europe was not restricted until mid-March, even though Italy was in dire straits, the same as China.
Democrats did not call him racist for stopping travel by Chinese citizens. They called him a racist for coming to press conferences and stating it was the “China virus” when it a cornonavirus that causes covid-19. I think he holds press conferences because he demands attention and constant fawning and uses them as campaign rallies for his supporters, as he attacks reporters and often gives misinformation. The scientists can easily handle these with Vice President Mike Pence and offer more.
God bless the heroes, the doctors, nurses, physician assistants and EMTs living in hotels all over the country to assist the cities in the worst shape.
Thank God being home I can find enough chores without watching 24-hour news or the daily Trump circus.
