Centuries ago, China said the only way a great country like the USA could be defeated was from within. Look around. To me, this statement is coming to fruition.

Political fighting is going on everywhere you look. Radical groups are organized and fighting our country, from legalizing drugs to sexual groups to ridding ourselves of our laws and the people who enforce them. It must be their way or no way.

Enforcing our written laws and not changing them is a start. Just think how nice it would be if we could talk about our problems and solve them peacefully. Instead of fighting, we could actually make this country better.

I have no love for either political party. Instead of each moving to neutral middle ground, they have both moved further apart.

Two men I have come to like are Sens. Dave McCormick and John Fetterman. They are working together and actually making sense.

I like a lot of what President Trump has done, if he would keep his mouth shut and act like a president should.

Getting rid of the foreign gangs and terrorist groups would be a good start. I was proud to have served my country in the Army.

Back in the ’60s, it was a better time. I’m not happy the way things are now. We need more Fettermans and McCormicks. Let’s hope they stay for a while.

God bless our country and all who have sworn to protect us.
