Letter to the editor: There's still time to replace Trump

I find Donald Trump to be an old, weak liar, a stammering, cruel bully, a disgusting felon and a racist. Yet he appeals to a lot of white MAGA voters who forgive his criminal behavior, his billionaire tax cuts, his lack of any real substance. I think it’s because of his racism, not in spite of it.

Trump markets himself. That seems to be his entire campaign; he just craves power and control. Let’s see how he markets his opinion on EVs now that Elon Musk is his new BFF.

I laughed out loud when I read the letter “Trump has integrity, honor” (July 29, TribLive). I thought the writer was joking. In 2020 Trump acknowledged he was starving the U.S. Postal Service of money in order to make it harder to timely process an expected surge in mail-in ballots. Does that sound like someone with honesty and integrity? Sounds like election interference to me. Like someone afraid of losing. There are so many other examples, but space is limited.

There are over 100 hate groups in Pennsylvania. I would bet 99.9% are filled with MAGA cultists. Their cult philosophy is based on fear, hate and retribution, just like their leader.

You still have time to replace your old, incoherent loser and his boot-licking Project 2025 puppet. Oh, and they wonder why we think they are just plain “weird”!
