The letter from Ed Svitek (“Trump deserved World Series boos,” Nov. 13, TribLIVE) was enough for me. I, and many other readers, are sick and tired of the repeated letters from frustrated Democrats who just can’t accept the 2016 elections. Give us a break, please!

Svitek’s letter mentioned all the boring, worn-out reasons we have heard the past three years from frustrated Democrats who hate President Trump — i.e., racist, womanizer, mocking a war hero, traitor (laughable), phony impeachment, liar, etc. Give us a break, please!

We are approaching a new election and it appears to this reader that the Democrats are scared. They should be — Trump is going to be re-elected.

It also appears to me that this paper is biased, with more negative letters than positive. I guess that happens in a one-party domination area.

Regardless of party preference, we all should show respect and honor the office of the president even if we don’t like the way he operates. I speak as a longtime Republican who changed to independent because I don’t like either party. I would be 1,000% in favor of a third party.

All politicians lie, cheat, work deals for their own benefit and say anything to fit the situation, and rarely produce on promises.
