Letter to the editor: Troubling that Dem voters had no choice

I find it rather troubling that the party that always calls the other a threat to democracy ignored the democratic process and “installed” Vice President Kamala Harris at the nominee for president. There was no primary for voters to decide who they wanted to run, just the establishment’s choice. After it became clear that President Biden was not capable of serving another term, Harris was installed as the candidate. There was not one single vote for her, totally bypassing the “democratic process” and the people’s choice.

I personally am very glad she didn’t pick Gov. Josh Shapiro to run as her VP; he’s better serving us here in Pennsylvania as our governor than being a small fish in today’s Democrat cesspool. Hopefully people see how these kinds of actions are not good for the long-term health of our constitutional republic.
