Letter to the editor: Trump and Republicans are for the rich

Donald J. Trump has a lot to be proud of in his life — the sins and lies keep stacking up. His actions have cost lives, with covid and Jan. 6. But there will be a “bloodbath” if he is not reelected. It’s pretty bad when Mike Pence won’t endorse Trump. Four more years of listening to his lies. In my opinion, Trump will be loyal to dictators with money.

Save America and make America great again by making the rich and companies pay their fair share of taxes. Republicans get rid of a modest tax plan to pay off our debt. They want to get rid of Obamacare and the Inflation Reduction Act, which lower drug costs and pay for infrastructure. Why doesn’t Trump want an immigration bill and money for Ukraine? I don’t want to find out what Republicans will do to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. Trust them with abortion rights?

My mother was right: Republicans are for the rich.
