The writer of the letter “Whose head should be examined?” (Aug. 20, TribLive) insinuated that Donald Trump is anti-Jewish by citing the remark he made in Charlottesville that “there are very fine people on both sides.” That talking point has long been debunked because it was taken out of context. Trump followed, a few moments later, with “I am not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally.” You Trump haters should find some new material.

In regards to the writer’s second point regarding Trump’s guests at Mar-a-Lago: I don’t believe that is as bad as Joe Biden delivering a eulogy in 2010 for Robert Byrd, a West Virginia representative who was a well-known and longtime KKK member and organizer.

Why can’t we just stick to policies instead of speculations and fact manipulations?
