Policywise, Donald Trump follows the standard Republican line: take away environmental protections and lower taxes for the rich (trickle down economics theory).
In his rude and crude manners, puerile name calling and in playing to the worst prejudices of a frighteningly large cohort of middle Americans, he is in a league of his own. In attempting (ineptly) to overturn the results of the election, he was a traitor, the likes of which has never been seen before by an American president. The fact that he isn’t in jail right now for Jan. 6 shows a serious weakness in our justice system.
