Why isn’t President Trump implementing a plan for mass production of supplies badly needed by medical professionals and medical facilities? Shouldn’t that have been considered foremost on his agenda in order to protect doctors, nurses, aides and those already afflicted by the coronavirus? Asking companies to donate their supplies of masks and other items is outrageous.

This president did not take this virus seriously enough from the beginning. He tried to convince Americans that it was no worse than the average flu. Now the pandemic is here, and he was proven wrong. Masks, respirators, beds and other supplies are needed ASAP. What is he waiting for? He has the authority to start the process immediately.

It seems to me that he is more worried about the economy and his stimulus plan so as to make himself look more favorable for the upcoming election instead of protecting Americans from illness and possibly death.

Quit wasting time, Mr. Trump. Wasting time means more illness for Americans and possibly more deaths.
