Letter to the editor: Trump on white supremacy

Tribune-Review

In an Oct. 1 White House briefing, reporters John Roberts (Fox) and Paula Reid (CBS), in an apparent coordinated effort, turned the event into a circus by badgering press secretary Kayleigh McEnany with their claim “the president hasn’t denounced white supremacy,” despite him having done so numerous times.

I think we should require Roberts and Reid to denounce white supremacy every 30 seconds when filing a report.

A manager can stand beside them with a stopwatch and signal when the comment is needed. “Today at the White House, President Trump met with the visiting prime minister of Hungary to discuss … I’m John Roberts, and I denounce white supremacy! … trade and other issues important to the two nations.”

Additionally, at report’s end, say the phrase twice — “I’m Paula Reid, and I denounce white supremacy, I’m Paula Reid, and I denounce white supremacy.”

After all, we need to be 100% sure.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden refuses to answer as to whether he will pack the Supreme Court or why his son Hunter’s investment firm in 2014 was wired $3.5 million by [the wife of former mayor of Moscow] [a Russian oligarch] (choose one) [source: U.S. Senate investigation]. No one asks Biden what exactly his message telling African Americans to vote for him, and if they don’t “then you ain’t Black,” means.

The noooz always shows us the tape of Trump saying in the violent clashes in Charlottesville in 2017, “you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides,” but they cut the tape where he adds, “I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally.”

“Reporting”? CBS or See-BS?
