Letter to the editor: Trump should focus on country, not his loss
It is amazing to me that people still refuse to see the truth about our so-called president.
In my opinion, President Trump spreads racism and hate and has been a disgrace to this country.
He seems to fire anyone who does not agree with him or won’t go along with his ideas, even people he appointed. Now he has made a mockery of one of the greatest rights we have as Americans, the right to vote. He reminds me of a baby throwing a tantrum because he did not get his own way, or in this case because he did not win.
Now, as the country suffers with a pandemic and we lose more and more family and friends, all we hear is him and his cronies claiming fraud about the election.
Ask yourself as a human: Is this really what the president of the United States should be putting all his time and resources into? I would think maybe he would try to make amends for being one of the worst presidents I have ever seen and going down in history as one of the worst presidents ever. But no, not him. I’m really not surprised.
So reflect on this, please. As Trump cries “election fraud,” I cry, along with many other Americans, for the loved ones lost in this horrible pandemic and our much-divided country.
It’s time we all pull together and put our differences aside. After all, it’s “one nation under God,” not under Republican or Democrat.
