Letter to the editor: Trump will get us through

Our country, our world, is dealing with a medical situation that has never happened before in modern history. Decisions are being made, problems are being dealt with, and lives are being saved. These decisions are being made by President Donald J. Trump and his expert team of advisers.

So why is Trump criticized, maligned and abused by so many? I think the media misleads the public each and every day with lies and accusations, and, sad to say, many people believe them.

Trump’s critics are judging his decisions as either too late or too early, racist and xenophobic. So many are quick to judge, but could any of the president’s critics actually make the hard decisions that are necessary to rebuild our great nation? To save American lives?

We have a leader with the strength and courage to make the hard decisions. Trump will get us through this disaster regardless of the haters out there. Believe that.
