Letter to the editor: Trump's chaos

Donald Trump isn’t even in the White House yet but is already sowing the chaos he does so well. He and Elon Musk (who I believe should have no say in anything) tanked the bipartisan stopgap spending bill. Musk asked why “we” should give the Democrats everything they want. How about what the people want? Why does it always have to be Democrats versus Republicans or vice versa?

As far as the election goes, I was never so ashamed of the people of this great nation who decided to reelect someone I believe is the most corrupt president in the history of our country. What were they thinking? Do they think Trump has changed? You better believe he has and not for the good. He will now be able to be the dictator he has wanted to be.

The Democrats keep talking about the next election. I believe there will be no more elections. Trump said it himself: If you vote for me “you don’t have to vote again.” Did anyone listen to him? I pray every night that we will be able to survive another Trump regime.
