Our Constitution is structured to prevent a sitting president from using the office for personal gain. Because President Trump did not divest from his businesses, when he, his family or a government employee visits one of his properties, our tax dollars go directly into Trump’s pocket. It has been reported Trump’s wealth increased by $3 billion in 2025. The question is how much of Trump’s total wealth came from taxpayer dollars?

Trump and his family’s self-dealing have cost taxpayers billions of dollars. From thousands of trips to his hotels and golf courses, to his overcharging the government for services, to holding governmental functions at his properties, to using government properties or labor for personal profit, to rewarding entities who purchase his meme coin with bloated government contracts, to a billion-dollar upgrade to a plane Trump intends to keep after he is out of office, to tax avoidance, Trump has fleeced the American public.

Our tax dollars are intended to be used by our government to protect and serve us, the American citizens. They are not intended to be used by Trump to enrich himself. We the people must seek justice. We must continually pressure Congress to expedite Trump’s removal and seek restitution for Trump’s theft.
