As the 2022 midterm election season begins, the American people need to be informed of and educated to the fact that almost all, if not all, of our traditional allies in Western Europe, Scandinavia and Canada have federal governments that do more and spend more (in proportion to their population sizes) than we do here in the USA on social programs to improve the quality of life for all those in their middle and lower classes. To paraphrase Al Pacino in the movie “And Justice For All,” for us to be right about this, all of them have to be wrong. I don’t think so.
