I am a 79-year-old with a history of cancer and numerous hospital stays for pneumonia. I am appalled at the distribution system set up for the vaccine. I should be a priority candidate but would gladly give it up for a worker in health care or law enforcement.

But what is the rationale for politicians to jump to the front of the line? They are not essential workers. They supposedly work for us, but they act as if they are the elite among us. I feel street people are more essential than most politicians.

The politicians exempt themselves from many regulations they pass, they live on an expense account and so on. Why jump the line? Are they better, more deserving, poorer? Can someone tell me?
