A few years ago, Vandergrift appeared to be a community enveloped in a downward spiral, with empty storefronts and a dismal outlook for the future. But something was about to take root in the community: the Vandergrift Business Association. The VBA geared up and moved forward, hosting many events that filled the Vandergrift municipal parking lot.

The VBA has just begun its work to revitalize our community. Behind the scenes are a few people who direct the VBA and should be recognized for their dedication to their community: Lori Marshall, Aubrey McCutcheon, Robert Buchanan, Eric Mikula, Mark Bowman, Josh Freeman and Nick Morgan. Any local business that has an interest in the revitalization of our area can contact them through the VBA website at vandergriftbusiness.org
