Our Verona farmers market, from 2-7 p.m. every Thursday at 736 E. Railroad Ave., has been around since the early 2000s. It was started by our current mayor, Dave Ricupero, and is currently run by the Verona Chamber of Commerce.

This season, we have an abundance of vendors selling everything from produce and plants to homemade soaps, candles, jewelry and home decor, plus food trucks and entertainment. We also invite local organizations to join us to raise awareness for their cause. State Rep. Joe McAndrew is often on hand to help residents sign up for farmers market vouchers and to provide other resources and information.

New participants are always welcome. For information, visit veronapafarmersmarket.com.
