Dr. Eric Bengel is unquestionably the most qualified and experienced leader and should be reelected as Harrison’s 3rd Ward commissioner. He has proven in his first term to be responsible, respectful and nonpartisan, with no other agenda than to do what’s right for his constituents and the township.

I’ve had a front-row seat to Harrison politics for over 40 years and have observed an array of great, good, gutless and evil people hold commissioner positions. Bengel is a diligent, stand-up guy who is in it for all the right reasons and is very deserving of reelection.

There is zero need for change for 3rd Ward commissioner, and every vote counts. Make yours count and vote for Bengel.

Additionally, this is undeniably not an election to sit out as an Allegheny County resident. Reckless extremists are pushing their progressive experiment for change in the district attorney’s and county executive’s offices. For the sake of safety, forethought and legitimate stability, Steven Zappala must remain district attorney, and Joe Rockey is the only reasonable and capable candidate to sensibly lead this county.
