As a lifelong Springdale resident, high school alumnus, homeowner, taxpayer and former borough council member, Mitchell Karaica has a vested interest in keeping our community safe and thriving. For years, he has committed himself to showing up for our community by giving his time and/or resources, without looking for recognition. His intentions are genuine, and always have been, long before his decision to run for magisterial district judge.

I had the pleasure of serving on Springdale Borough Council with Karaica as president the last two years, and I watched as he guided our community through some difficult issues. He always led in a clear, decisive manner, and Springdale is better off for it.

Having been on the campaign trail a time or two myself, I have been incredibly impressed by his work ethic and drive over the past four months. He is proactively registered to complete the rigorous certifying course and exam, long before the general election, which would qualify him to assume the role in the state of Pennsylvania, if elected.

He is all in — and I can only hope that our community will be as well. Count on Karaica for humility, integrity, impartiality and dedication.
