Politicians are well known for making a whole shopping list of promises addressing what they will do to correct the many world and everyday life problems. But what is more important is: Can they or have they demonstrated they can perform in such a way to keep the promise?

We all demonstrate our performance ability throughout our lives. When we were assigned a task or volunteered to take on a task, were we able to meet the challenge, solve the problem, bring about a change that made life better for others, thus demonstrating if we make a promise we will deliver? This same principle applies to politicians who have held elective offices for years.

One can judge by performance, if promises made are actually promises kept. One would think someone who has held an elected office for years would have a long list of promises kept. Strange that this list of true accomplishments is not front and center when campaigning for election/reelection votes. What we all hear is just how poorly the other candidate has performed, and yes, more promises.

Please exercise your right to vote and base your vote on actual performance and not blind promises.
