Judge Harry F. Smail Jr. has been a judge of the Court of Common Pleas in Westmoreland County since 2014. He was appointed by Gov. Tom Corbett and then won both parties’ nominations to a full term.

Initially, Smail served in the Family Court division, proving to be very effective and appreciated by the community. As a Civil Court judge, he has has effectively lowered his civil docket, earning the respect of lawyers, professionals and business people.

Smail has been encouraged to take a challenge and advance to the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. He has been endorsed by the Pennsylavnia Republican State Committee as the unopposed candidate in the Republican primary for Superior Court judge.

Please support Smail. He is positioned to win in November and thrive as an appellate judge for the citizens of Pennsylvania.
