Since the time of our country’s founding we have been a progressive people. We threw off the yoke of British colonialism and established a nation “of and by the people.” This was radical thought in the 18th century.

This November I believe we will be challenged to continue America’s progress or revert to the dark, sick visions of a convicted felon who seeks retribution against his opponents, to move America back to a time with fewer civil liberties, to disenfranchise people of color, to diminished health care choices and to create an oppressive government.

As a veteran I stand for progress to improve the lives of all Americans. I hope you too will reject the forces of evil and vote for American progress. I will not go back!
