Remember when Joe Biden was a rambling old man who was unfit to be president?
Has anybody listened to Donald Trump lately? I haven’t heard that much slurring since they called last call at an open-bar wedding. Not to mention him dancing like he’s driving a bulldozer to the sweet refrain of “Ave Maria” for 40 minutes.
The difference is that Biden is an intelligent man who has slowed a little with age. Trump is more like my great-Aunt Minnie. She said and did so many crazy things in her life that none of us noticed when dementia set in. Ironically, it wasn’t till she announced that she was running for president that we finally figured it out.
That old gal was sure a lot of fun, but we had to keep her away from things like knives, power tools and nuclear launch codes.
Now that she’s gone, I wish I could tell her that I would vote for her today. That is, if she was running against Trump. Now that’s what I call a real “no-brainer.”
