Letter to the editor: Voting for evil people

ISO a liberal to make it make sense. We understand politicians doing evil things to gain power and wealth, but we cannot wrap our brains around why people vote for them.

They say we are scared Donald Trump will lead us into World War III. Trump did not lead us into any wars, instead securing several global peace treaties. President Biden mishandled Iran and the leaving of Afghanistan and continues to use our tax dollars to fund wars in Gaza and Ukraine.

Trump was labeled racist for his border policies. Now Biden is trying to mimic them, 3½ years and millions of illegals later. Liberals are praising his effort in curbing the — his — crisis.

Trump has been charged 86 times in the past four years, before one Jeffrey Epstein client has been arrested. Biden tweeted “nobody is above the law,” but his son, much like Epstein’s clients, still walks free.

The left cries and is shaken by Jan. 6 — insert eye roll — but I don’t believe they saw a problem with the burning down and looting of cities and local businesses. They scream for gun control with every mass shooting, but it seems like only ones outside inner cities.

Liberals do whatever they are told by their political leaders, all while being treated like inept toddlers. The government never has nor will care about what’s in our best interest or safety, just what’s in theirs. So again, we ask you, make the hypocrisy and the fight against individual rights make sense.
