If you live long enough, just about every incredibly stupid idea will come across the airwaves, newspapers and opinion shows. The stupid idea picture will be painted with a compassionate brush that makes you think it will be such an improvement over the status quo. As Elizabeth Barrett Browning said, “Let me count the ways,” that mail-in voting is a horrible idea.

No. 1 — fraud. Nos. 2-2,000 — fraud.

I don’t care what’s going on in the world right now. With exception to anyone completely incapacitated, you need to vote in person. Men and women fought and died for you to have that right. Don’t be a whiner and complain about that right. Whichever party you choose to vote for is counting on you to show up at the polls to vote.

Call your congressman and senator and tell them to reject mail-in ballots. We need to have our own voice forever.
