What a great celebration Saturday in our nation’s capital for the United States Army’s 250th anniversary. George Washington would be very proud. Yes, we did defeat a king — it was King George III of England. America’s first and only king.
And then there was whatever was going on that day not only in Greensburg at the Westmoreland County Courthouse but also across the nation — “No Kings” protest? I agree with protesting against kings in America. I just wonder if the people protesting today actually know anything about American history.
