Letter to the editor: We can put an end to Trump virus Nov. 3

Tribune-Review

Talk about being fed Kool-Aid. President Trump has been feeding it to the American citizens about the coronavirus. His downplaying of the pandemic, revealed through Bob Woodward’s interviews, says it all. Trump misled the country and failed to protect American citizens, and I hold him responsible for many thousands of the U.S. coronavirus deaths.

He claims he didn’t want to create panic. Yet he has no problem inflicting false fear about Joe Biden and the Democrats, or guiding the country into political hatred and racial unrest.

The Republican Party of Trump and his supporters continues to accept all he does, even at the possible cost of their own lives and the lives of their loved ones.

Trump boasts about his Middle East peace accord while dividing his own country. He is pitting red states against blue states; that hasn’t happened since the Civil War.

Trump once commented, “You may not like me, but you have no choice but to vote for me.” The truth is, you have no choice but to vote for Biden. Please don’t be fooled again. In my opinion, Trump has been terrible for this country and is no leader; he is destroying the very foundation of this country.

We still have a long way to go before we are safe from the coronavirus. But we can put an end to the Trump virus that has plagued this country since 2016. That’s by voting for honor, dignity and integrity — Joe Biden — and bringing pride back to our country. May God bless America and make it safe again.
