Letter to the editor: We need faith, not masks

In the past month I have become a rebel and an outcast because I can’t obey the mandate to wear a mask in public. I feel this is a violation of my constitutional rights as a citizen of a free democracy, not a dictatorship. The government can give advice. Advice is one thing; to mandate is another.

Where is our faith, our trust in God, who created all? God is in control. To be so afraid, to hide behind closed doors and masks — what has happened to our faith? Never lose faith, for without faith there is no hope. When we put our cares in God’s hands, he puts his peace into our hearts.
